30 Seconds Showcase

First time at Boogie Feet´s Festival!

A competition where the participant / participants will be dancing a choreographed routine to a particular piece of music. We will allow a song up to 45 seconds long. This competition will take place during the Dance Party in the park (Minneparken) Saturday day time. Any dance or music style is allowed, and you can register as a single person, couple or even a bigger group. 

Open Jack´n´Jill 

A social competition for less experienced dancers where the leaders and followers are drawn randomly to dance to random boogie woogie music. This competition highlights the participants´ ability to lead and follow, improvise and connect with each other and music.

If you compete in this category you cannot compete in the Advanced Jack´n´Jill.

Advanced Jack´n´Jill 

A social competition for more experienced dancers with the same rules as in Open Jack´n´Jill.

If you compete in this category you cannot compete in the Open Jack´n´Jill.

Invitational Jack´n´Jill 

A social competition for the BFF Dance Teachers. 

Strictly 

A competition where the participants register as a couple and perform on random music. Participants are judged for their ability to improvise, adapt to music and present personal movements.
