You have never done a step in boogie woogie or other swing dances.

You are fluent in basic steps, basics of lead and follow, principles of turns and rotations and know basic boogie woogie dance figures.

Boogie Woogie Advanced 1
You are familiar with all the basic boogie woogie figures and are able to do them technically correct. Your have developed certain musicality level and can consciously use the dance moves to reflect music while staying connected to your partner.
Boogie Woogie Advanced 2
You have mastered several variations of dance figures and moves from both technical and artistic approach, as well as you are able to dance to different tempos (up to 48 bpm) using musicality principles, correct technique of lead and follow, foot variations and general body control.
Boogie Woogie Invitational
This is a closed group for the participants invited by a letter from the BFF. Some participants can get to that group after the audition.
Audition for Boogie Woogie Advanced 2 & Invitational!
A social competition for less experienced dancers where the leaders and followers are drawn randomly to dance to random boogie woogie music. This competition highlights the participants´ ability to lead and follow, improvise and connect with each other and music.
If you compete in this category you cannot compete in the Advanced Jack´n´Jill.
A social competition for more experienced dancers with the same rules as in Open Jack´n´Jill.

A social competition for the BFF Dance Teachers.
A competition where the participants register as a couple and perform on random music. Participants are judged for their ability to improvise, adapt to music and present personal movements.
